REST began due to the critically endangered status of the Cape Griffon in Namibia.  However, as REST has expanded, we have realized that there are so many other species in our country that need support for survival.  Our list then expanded to the “Forgotten Five”.  Recently we added a 6th so we are now the Forgotten 5 +1.  Each animal not only represents a species, but also the flora and fauna associated with its needs.

Namibia’s Forgotten Five

REST is currently focused on conservation efforts with the Cape griffon vulture, but is also looking to work with four other species.
